1994 Grand Banks 36 Europa

  • 36 ft
  • Trawler
  • Kemah, US

Yacht price :

$169,000

Overview

The Europa   is the sought-after Grand Banks 36 model and Anthem has a lot going for her. Side deck overhangs that offer a dodge from the rain and also offer shade into the main cabin are just one of the reasons for this popularity She has the preferred single stateroom layout with unique split berths. Cruising speed at 10 knots comes with ease with the 210 Cummins and in comfort with the 5 kw Northern Lights generator. She's ready to go cruising.

I have known the present and the previous past owner who both have been experienced yachtsmen and both have maintained her in beautiful condition with the care she deserves.

FORWARD STATEROOM

The owner's stateroom is forward that uniquely features split port/stbd berths vs. an island double berth. This set-up allows for greater access within the cabin. A large hanging locker is at the forward bulkhead in the stateroom. The stowage under each bunk is abundant. The en suite head is to port and the large separate shower stall with seat and built-in stowage lockers. There is more stowage in the steps up to the saloon.

SALOON - GALLEY - HELM

Stepping into the main cabin the first impression is the inviting 360 degree view out. Entering the cabin from the aft door, the L-shaped settee is to port with a low table built into the corner. Part of the table top lifts to provide a nice chart kit compartment. A beautiful teak dinette table sits just off the settee. To starboard aft is a stowage cabinet with stereo system and two teak Grand Banks chairs.

Forward and to port is the generously-sized galley. The layout makes it very efficient, even in offshore waters. The ship's chef has plenty of space to work out of the fore and aft traffic as well as the helmsman seated to starboard. Adding to the extensive cruising layout, the galley functions well with.......Stainless steel sink is deep and the faucet sits high to provide easy cleaning for large pots, pans and platters. The Adler Barbour refrigerator drains overboard.

The main decks have a 270 degree overhang protection from sun and rain also providing a bit of more longevity and comfort. The aft deck has two teak folding chairs, a round teak table and a standing refrigerator.

Up the ladder is the spacious and well layer-out bridge with double fore and aft facing seats that includes canvas covering. on the aft deck overhang sits the dinghy in the chalks athwartship.
